We shoot headshots out of Electric Light Studios—Stag & Bird’s own creative studio collective in the heart of the West Bottoms, Kansas City. The space is flooded with natural light and has the perfect mix of industrial grit and modern polish. You can be in and out fast with our studio photographer, Court, or we can bring the session to you—setting up on-site at your office, workspace, or event.

the process

Step 1: Inquire
Head to our contact page and fill out the inquiry form. We keep things streamlined—no DMs, no lost emails.

Step 2: Booking Guide or Call
We’ll send you a personalized booking guide with package details, or we can start with a call to talk through your needs, your goals, and your brand’s personality.

Step 3: Lock It In
Once you’ve chosen your session, you’ll complete your paperwork and pay your retainer to secure your date.

Step 4: The Deep Dive
You’ll fill out our brand + style questionnaire so we know exactly how to tell your story visually. If you’re in the development stage, this is where Brand Brainstorming comes in to make sure your images match your goals.

Step 5: Shoot Day
We’ll guide you through prompts, creative direction, and location setups so you get a full range of images that feel authentic to you and your brand.

Step 6: Delivery
Within three weeks, you’ll receive your digital album—fully edited and ready to use everywhere you want to be seen.
