Stag & Bird Photo was built for the bold, the offbeat, the wildly in love, and the people who want their photos to feel like them—not a Pinterest board someone’s been recycling since 2013.

Who We Are

We’re a Kansas City-based photography studio obsessed with color, grit, and heart. Whether it’s a wedding in a historic downtown warehouse, an elopement in the middle of a wildflower field, or portraits in the grungy glow of the West Bottoms, we show up to tell your story—not just take “nice pictures.”

Our work is part documentary, part cinematic, with a side of unapologetic personality. That means no cookie-cutter poses, no beige backdrops, and no pretending you’re people you’re not.
